We store the minimum needed to keep the poll honest. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we never store your raw IP address.
We set one functional cookie containing the anonymous device identifier described above. It exists to enforce the one-vote-per-device rule and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Your browser also keeps a small local record of your selection so the page can display your choice instantly.
We use privacy-preserving, server-side traffic analytics provided by our hosting platform. It reports aggregate figures such as page views, referring sites, and countries. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of individual visitors.
Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request needed to deliver the font files. Our site and database are hosted on Netlify. We do not share vote data with anyone else.
Vote records are kept for as long as the poll runs, because deleting them would corrupt the standings. You can clear the cookie at any time through your browser. To ask what we hold about your device identifier, or to request its deletion, contact us through the contact page.
